This problem manifests as a game crash during mission loading when the game has run more than once directly from the executable. To overcome this problem, either run the game executable (DisRep.exe) as an Administrator or change the security permissions for all the game files to Full Control for the User Account. To run as an Administrator, right mouse click on the DisRep.exe icon and select "Run as Administrator". You can also make this change permanent by right mouse clicking on the icon, selecting Properties --> Compatibility --> Run as Administrator. (Note that if you have multiple user accounts on your machine the process will vary.) To change the file permissions, log into your machine with a user account that has Administrator permissions. Then, select the Dismantle Repair folder where you installed it, right mouse click and select Properties --> Security. For any user account or group that will access that game select the Full Control checkbox and then select Apply. ----------------------- **AUDIO If you are not hearing any in-game music or ambient sound, please make sure that you are using the DirectSound driver. To change to the DirectSound audio driver, open the Options menu on the splash screen, select Audio, and choose DirectSound from the drop-down box. ----------------------- NOTE: This product is provided as-is and no additional technical support or assistance is provided.
